These units with front entry design are perfect for serving from behind a bar or booth. Instead of having the draft lines entering on one side and the faucets pouring from the other, these draft boxes have everything on the same side you'll be pouring from. This means there's no need to route your draft lines from the customer-facing side back around to behind the bar or under your table. The result is less clutter on your countertop and a much cleaner look from the customer's perspective.
From the pass through shanks to the forward-sealing faucets, your beer will touch nothing but stainless steel. The stainless draft coils measure 50' long with 1/4" ID, which we've found makes for a better pour with less foam. Stainless shank plates at the front and rear will protect the cooler from damage while adjusting or tightening shanks and faucets. The vendor-facing faucets are located as high on the cooler as possible, providing clean line-of-sight to your brewery's tap handles.
Nothing will ruin your boothing as fast as coil and shank separation. Standard jockey box draft coils are shaped to be "close enough" to attach to the shank, and then tightened into position. This means the coil is always trying to pull away from the shank and separation becomes a risk, especially if any hadware loosens over time. If the shank and coil finally separate while in use, you'll be running to turn off the gas while beer shoots everywhere. The KOMOS Jockey Box was developed with this specific scenario in mind. The coils are designed to push inward on the shank, applying force that will keep the coil and shank connected even if your hardware begins to loosen.
