Bypass for Filter Pump on our 20cm x 20cm plate and frame filters. The bypass allows wine on the outgoing portion of the pump to return the inlet as pressure builds up within the filter. This can extend the life of your pads (by reducing leaking from excess pressure) and is better for your pump.
