Spindle Extension for 40x40 Plate Filters

This extension attaches to the main spindle on a 40x40cm Plate and Frame filter so that it can be used with few plates than would normally be needed to keep the filter full.
With Plate and Frame filters, there is always a minimum number of plates that must be installed in order for the filter to compress enough seal correctly. Using this spindle extension allows you to still seal the filter with fewer plates installed, thereby saving money on filter media when running smaller lots of wine through the system.
